Hi, I'm Melanie - the founder, curator and all-round-super-woman behind Mystery Box Books - and I'm guessing that since you're here, you must love books just as much as I do! (Or at least know someone who does).

Choosing a book for yourself or a loved one can be a stressful experience for even the most enthusiastic reader. With all those covers staring you in the face it can be hard to know where to start and easy to get it wrong.

I started Mystery Box Books to help readers and gift-givers who are easily overwhelmed when surrounded by so much choice. I wanted to offer a personalised book service that takes the stress out of the selection process, by putting some mystery in – making it a fun and exciting experience for both the reader and the gift-giver. My hope is that through Mystery Box Books, every reader (even the reluctant ones) will find a book they love.
